Ms. Stenger began teaching at SE in 2002. During her tenure, she has taught Spanish I, II, and III, English, and art. She has also coached the UIL Spelling team. Ms. Stenger teaches both high school students as well as 8th graders are enrolled in her art class. As freshmen class sponsor, she has also been seen around school helping students to prepare to work at the concession stand. She has done all of this while woking on her Master's Degree at Sul Ross University. She often spends her weekends traveling to and from the Alpine location to take courses.
Before coming to SE, Ms. Stenger graduated from Monterey High School and Texas Tech University. She has been teaching since 1981, educating all ages, form babies to adults in various school including private schools and those located in the big cities.
