Copied from the 1951 Wolverine annual:
We wish to dedicate the 1951 "Wolverine" to the Springlake School Band.
This is the first year for our band, in a number of years, and we (speaking for the school) are very proud of its progress. Mr. Sam Watson is the director, and the success of the band is due tothe hard work and the cooperation of the members with one another and Mr. Watson.
Best wishes for another successful year, next year.
