Carolyne Stephens has been employed at Springlake-Earth ISD for thirty years, beginning in 1976. She worked in junior high for twenty years and in high school for the past ten years, where she is the secretary. She says she loves it and loves the students and her fellow employees. She was the High School Cheerleader sponsor for fourteen years.

          She has two daughters, Vonda, who lives in Levelland, and Sharman, who lives in Idalou. Her three granddaughters, and two grandsons keep her busy and entertained. She enjoys yardwork, playing cards and dominoes, sewing, going places. An interesting fact about her family is they all love to play games.
