Mrs. Robbie Parish and Mrs. Debbie Haberer's first grade classes read a book about Johnny Appleseed. Students' artwork is shown, along with the book report which reads "Johnny Appleseed was a good community helper. His real name was John Chapman. He planted apple seeds wherever he went. He was kind to people and kind to animals. Children liked to hear his stories. Johnny gave apples to his country and to you and me."
