| The Springlake-Earth band is under the direction of Mr. Greg Garrison. This year the drum major is Iliana. The band participated in district U.I.L. (University Interscholastic League) on Saturday, October 18. "Oye Como Va" by Santana, "Cherished" performed by The Association, and "Evil Ways" by Santana, were the songs performed this year. The Springlake-Earth High School Marching Band competed in the Region 16 marching competiton in Plainview on Saturday, October 19, 2002. They received a division 2.
