Our next visitor was Phillip York, a banker. He read Sylvester and the Magic Pebble by William Steg. This book is about a little boy who is inside a pebble, and his parents miss him. He eventually is found by the parents, and it has a happy ending! The class enjoyed the excitement of this book, as well as the storyteller!
