This year celebrates the 50th year of teaching for our very own Mr. Gene Gaston. He has touched many peoples lives and has helped students to go on to succeed in all they do. He currently teaches Chemistry and Physics for the Juniors and Seniors at Springlake-Earth High School. He first started out teaching agriculture and then found his calling in science. His class is a preparation class for all those who are planning to attend college when they graduate. He attended Texas Tech, Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado, West Texas A&M, and University of Houston. The degrees and certifications he earned were Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science from Texas Tech. He is currently the freshman class sponsor and dedicated many hours helping them when needed. Mr. Gaston is known for his motto: "Guard your Honesty and Integrity." We would like to give a very special thanks to Mr. Gaston for his hard work and dedication that he has given throughout the years.
