The accounting contest focuses on elementary principles of accounting for sole proprietorship, partnerships, and corporations. There will be 80 to 100 questions, with one hour of working time allotted for the actual testing.

Each participating school may enter as many as four contestants in the district meet, all of whom may place. Of all contestants entered from a school, those who earn the top three overall scores shall constitute the school's team.
