The Special Education program at Springlake-Earth I.S.D. offers a variety of programs to a

diverse clientele. Students are placed in classes that are commensurate with their academic

abilities in each subject area. Individual students may be placed in a combination of self-

contained or regular classes. The special education program is a "learning strategies

program" which helps students be successful in academic classes by teaching/ encouraging

requisite learning skills and developing, compensatory skills.
