Calculus AB is a preparation for the AP (Advanced Placement) Calculus test. Students must have completed Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and PreCalculus. This class is strongly recommended for anyone planning on majoring in math, science, or engineering in college. Seniors only!!

PreCalculus is a preparation for calculus and college math. It includes review of Algebra II applications, followed by trig and advanced math topics such as sequences, limits, and polar coordinates. A student must have completed Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry, or be currently enrolled in Geometry. This class is strongly recommended for anyone planning to attend college. Juniors and Senior only!!

Math Models with Applications emphasizes financial math including earnings, payroll taxes, income tax returns, checking and savings accounts, loans and credit cards. Other topics, such as probability, will be covered as time permits. Student must have passed Algebra I. Juniors and Seniors only!!

Geometry is a class based on properties, characteristics, and applications of all types of flat and 3-dimensional figures. Indirect and direct proofs are developed and used. This class also includes problem-solving techniques. It is required for graduation at Springlake-Earth High School. This class is not open to freshmen.
