Parents of students going to Texas Tech in the fall of 2000: Tech is offering an intensive, day-long workshop entitled "Getting Ready for College," which is appropriate for students entering any university. It is designed for juniors and seniors and college freshmen to clarify their career interests, abilities, personality types, values, strengths, study skills, and appropriate academic majors.
