July 24-27 the S-E Varsity Cheerleaders went to the 2006 Wayland Cheer Camp in Plainview, TX. There they learned many new cheers, dances, and stunts. While they were there, they had an opportunity to be nominated and try out for All-American Cheerleader. The staff nominated cheerleaders on jumps, stunts, motions, and leadership. All of the S-E Cheerleaders were nominated in these categories. Erica, Kamber, Madison, Courtney, and Amanda were nominated for jumps. Ashlee was nominated for stunts, and Kristi for leadership. After tryouts, Madison and Kamber were named All-American Cheerleader. Daniella, our mascot, was nominated for All-American Mascot. She learned a dance and participated in many skits, including a Senior Skit. She also brought home individual awards. The squad had a lot of fun and brought home many awards.
