The Springlake-Earth Junior High Cross Country teams, coached by Jeri Been Goodman and Nikki Hartley, entered various competitions during the fall season.

At the District Cross Country Meet in Amarillo on October 19, the boys won district and the girls were runner-up.

Seventh and eighth grade boys team members and their placings at district were: Jakoby, Danny, Isaya-3rd, Ben-8th, Hunter-5th, and Tyler-11th.

Seventh and eighth grade girls team members and their placings at district were: Jennifer, Tanoah, Ashley, Tamra, Estafani, Ana, Courtney-8th, Alyssa, Tara, Amanda V., Amanda H.-5th, and Brittnee.
