The Elementary Awards Assembly was held Tuesday, May 18, 2004 in the auditorium. In addition to students, staff, and administration, parents and friends attended the event which honored students in grades 1-5. The Gifted and Talented students recognized the various award winners and helped hand out the medals, ribbons, and certificates.

After Balee gave the welcome, Will led everyone in pledges to the American and Texas flags. Randi read the Springlake-Earth Elementary Mission Statement: Accepting nothing less than the very best while promoting a culture of success. Other GT students who helped announce award winners were Kassidy, Jessica, Sayre, and David.
