Dear Soldier,

I wanted to write to you to thank you for all that you have done.  The most important thing you have done for me and all Americans is that you protect us.

My name is Clayton, and I am in the seventh grade.  The subject I like the most is probably either Math or Science.  I live out in the country, but I call it out in the middle of no-where.  It’s cool to live in the country because I can have a lot of animals.  Right now we have two geese, two dogs, two show goats, a herd of goats, a lot of cats, some chickens and we should get a lamb.  My dad’s name is Gregg and my mom’s name is Lynn.  I work for my dad during the summer break.  Mostly I drive a tractor and run cattle through a shoot.  My mom is a pretty good cook, but when she tries to make something healthy it’s disgusting.

If you ever have time, would you please write back to me?  I want to see what a soldier’s life is like.  I want to see because I plan on being a soldier for three or more years when I grow up.

Your supporter,

Clayton
